THY TRAFFIC NUMBERS FOR JULY 2020
Turkish Airlines traffic numbers for July 2020 have been announced.
In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following information was provided:
The traffic results for the establishment of the company for the period of July 2020 were as follows: The total number of passengers, which reached 7.1 million in July 2019, reached 2 million in the same period in 2020. Passenger occupancy rate was 65.3% in July 2020. The volume of cargo transported by mail, which was 134,580 tons in July 2019, decreased 7% to 125,128 tons in the same period in 2020.
Traffic results for our establishment for the period from January to July 2020 are as follows:
The total number of passengers, which reached 42.2 million in the period from January to July 2019, reached 16.6 million in the same period in 2020. Passenger load factor decreased by 6 points to 74.6%. The total Available Mileage (ASK) reached 106 billion kilometers in the January-July 2019 period, while it decreased by 58.1% in the same period in 2020 to 44.5 billion. The volume of goods transported by mail reached 851,900 tons in the period from January to July 2019, while it was 8032,202 tons for the same period in 2020, a decrease of 2.3%. By the end of July 2020, the fleet had 363 aircraft.
